Kimberly Zimmer’s Get It Promotions is proud to announce a benefit concert by multi-GRAMMY Award-winning vocal group TAKE 6 on March 23, 2014 at Montreal’s intimate Gesù Theatre.

TAKE 6 (Claude McKnight, Mark Kibble, Joel Kibble, Dave Thomas, Alvin Chea and Khristian Dentley), heralded by Quincy Jones as the “baddest vocal cats on the planet!’, is the quintessential a cappela group and model for vocal genius.  Best known for the GRAMMY Award-winning SPREAD LOVE, TAKE 6 is comprised of six virtuosic voices united in crystal clear harmony, against a backdrop of syncopated rhythms, innovative arrangements, and funky grooves that bubble into an intoxicating brew of gospel, jazz, R&B, and pop.

TAKE 6 believes in giving back to communities and designates a select few performances during the year as “benefit” concerts. Claude McKnight, the group’s founder, says:

“It’s  a thrill for TAKE 6 to perform in Montreal – our Canadian fans have always been so supportive and we don’t see them often enough in person.  In addition, it’s a pleasure to help raise funds for The Children’s Hospital by doing this show.”

Montreal is fortunate to have the group perform such an intimate concert in the acoustically perfect setting of the Gesù, benefitting one our city’s most beloved causes: The Montreal Children’s Hospital.

Concert attendees will be treated to an evening of unparalleled vocal talent while knowing that proceeds from the event will go to a very worthy cause.
